HOW LONG IS A DOG WALK?
The length of a walk will depend on your dog and what we have arranged. We can walk your dog from 30 minutes (1 hour including pick up and drop off) up to 2 hours. The duration is up to the owner that is decided during our first meeting. If your dog is very active and we are looking after them in doggie day creche they will be walked at least twice during the day if you wish.

ARE YOU POLICE CHECKED (CRB)?
Yes! Anyone entering your home alone should be police checked – Woodland-Walkies is fully insured.
KEYS AND ALARMS
We have a lot of experience with working and entering large private homes with sophisticated alarm and cctv systems. We take our responsibility very seriously when it comes to locking up and securing people homes after walking their dogs. All our keys are kept in a secure safe and can be given back to the owners any time they wish to have their keys returned.
WHERE ARE YOUR DOGS WALKED?
We walk your dog on the beach in Sully.
WHAT SIZE DOGS DO YOU WALK ?
We walk small to large sized dogs providing they are not the following: aggressive dogs or dogs with dangerous and unpredictable behavioural issues.
WILL MY DOG BE WALKED WITH OTHER DOGS?
No more than 3 dogs are walked at any one time, we wish to give maximum attention to each pet we look after. Some dogs may be walked on their own and others may be walked in a group, this will be discussed during a consultation. All pets are always kept on their leads, unless other arrangements have been discussed with the owners and agreed in writing prior to the walk. We do not walk pets that have to wear a muzzle due to aggressive behaviour towards other dogs. Female dogs in season will be walked alone – so please let us know if your dog is in season.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER AND PICK UP OUR PET FROM?
We are a local business based in Penarth and cover Penarth, Cogan and Sully for our services. This enables us to collect our clients pets and be in an open space in minutes to have fun – spending hardly anytime in our vans.
IS WOODLAND WALKIES FULLY INSURED AND QUALIFIED?
Woodland Walkies is highly experienced and fully qualified in Canine first aid, dog behavioural handling and has full liability insurance cover.
